As a high school student, the aspect of working was relatively new to me. However, with a lot of support and a great team, I set my days working at Swob as an intern, with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. Over the past four months, I had the opportunity to work with Swob, a company I have grown to learn more about. Four months to get to know the business, how they operate, and how to add value to the team, while growing more as a student.

I have developed and learned different skills throughout my experience at Swob, all of which have allowed me to grow professionally and personally. Whether it is from learning effective communication or learning new strategies and ways in digital creativity, I can confidently say that I can apply this knowledge I have built from this experience into somewhere I will grow more and develop.

My experience with the founders of the company has only been supportive. Although COVID-19 has affected work and our interactions with others, my supervisors were able to provide as much support as they can. They valued communication, something many people need during times like these. I can see their continuous effort to help their followers, providing them with meaningful and informative content.

As I reflect on my experience at Swob, I am excited about the next adventure I am to embark on in the future. I have no doubt that I will have the same wonderful support as I have always received as I make this transition across. As a high school student, I think Swob is just what individuals at my age need. I know many individuals struggling to find jobs, and with Swob, they benefit from easy-to-apply resources and tips to succeed. I would encourage individuals who are exploring work or wanting to build experience to consider Swob.
